Galerie Kornfeld is delighted to dedicate an exhibition to the Japanese-Swiss artist Teruko Yokoi (1924 - 2020) on the occasion of her 100th birthday, in which we show a selection of important works on canvas and paper from the last six decades. Her work was influenced by various artistic stations: Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, Paris and Bern, where she lived and worked since 1962. In 2020, the Kunstmuseum Bern organized a major retrospective for her. For Gallery Kornfeld, this represents the 11th exhibition of the artist, which testifies to the close connection and friendship with Teruko Yokoi.
